Meetings The Lee County Genealogical Society meets on the second Monday each month at 7:00 pm. The location varies so check with the society before attending. Each month we try to have a speaker to teach us about a different aspect of genealogy. Newsletter Every other month we publish a newsletter. We always give a brief synopsis of each program. The president speaks of society events. Queries are printed, if accompanied by an address, The newsletter has articles on genealogy, history, and tidbits of advice. We encourage members to submit articles for the newsletter. For those who cannot attend the monthly meeting of the society, the newsletter is your contact with us. It is the next best way of gathering genealogy and historical information on the county without being here. |
