Lee County Genealogical Site Has Been Redesigned |

Those of you who are frequent visitors obviously have noticed that there has been a major change in the LCGS Web Site. This has been done for several reasons. The main one is the new site will allow LCGS Board Officers a easy way to add content to the site. Even those who are not super tech savvy can figure out how to add information. It is hoped that others can help me keep the content current such as meeting news, special events, closings, and other information.

The Lee County Genealogical Society has moved. The new home is located at 111 South Hennepin Ave., in Dixon IL. We are now about 1 1/2 blocks away from the old location. The new location is located within one block from the Dixon Library and the Lee County Court House. This new location gives us over 50% more room and all our material is now better organized. The new location will cost us slightly more than the old so donations are welcomed.
